US JD
When it hasn’t been done before, a client often chooses Freshfields over another international law firm.
We run a 12-week programme to give second-year JD candidates the opportunity to experience life within an international law firm.
Your programme will begin with an induction in Hong Kong. Throughout your programme, we’ll also invite you to formal training sessions and give you responsibility on transactions and projects.
As we select one or two JDs every summer for the Hong Kong office, we’re able to tailor the experience to your needs and ensure it is relevant and rewarding for you. You’ll work primarily with the US team in Hong Kong and China; however, you may also be able to spend time in the US or UK as part of the programme.
We regret to advise the Hong Kong office will not have a US summer associates programme for 2024.
