Applying for a training contract
This year, we’re offering up to 80 two-year training contracts for intakes to our London office in February and August 2020.
We look at every application individually and shortlist applicants on merit alone. So it doesn’t matter what your background is – if you think you can make it as an international commercial lawyer, you should apply.
You can apply either:
- directly for a training contract; or
- via a vacation scheme, if you’re a penultimate-year student.
Apply directly for a training contract
Winter training contract application window: 2 October 17 – 4 January 18
- Final year law and non-law students
- Law and non-law graduates
Summer training contract application window: 1 June 18 - 17 July 18
- Penultimate and final year law students
- Law graduates
- GDL graduates
Am I eligible?
If you are a non-law student you are eligible in your final year or as a graduate.
If you are a law student, you are eligible in your penultimate and final years and as a graduate.
Apply via a vacation scheme
If you’re in your penultimate year at university, you have an alternative option: to apply for a place on a vacation scheme. If you’re successful, you’ll then have the chance to be interviewed for a training contract at the end of the scheme.
